Join us in celebrating summer with your furry friends! Participate in the 1st Inaugural Oregon Tech Dog Days of Summer, brought to you by the Oregon Tech Alumni Association. Share your summer adventures with your dogs, connect with fellow alumni, and compete weekly for special prizes!
Participation Instructions:
- Step 1: Visit alumni.oit.edu/events. Or go directly to the registration page HERE.
- Step 2: Click on and fill out the Dog Days of Summer Event registration.
- Step 2: Receive your exclusive Dog Days of Summer kit, which includes a special Oregon Tech bandanna for your dog.
- Step 3: Take fun and creative pictures of your dog wearing the bandanna and enjoying the summer to participate in weekly challenges.
- Step 4: Post your pictures on social media using the hashtag #OregonTechDogDays and tag @OregonTechAlumni.
Rules & Guidelines:
- Eligibility: Open to all Oregon Tech alumni, faculty, and staff.
- Duration: The campaign runs until September 15th, 2024.
- No Dogs on Campus: Remember, dogs are not allowed on campus. Any submissions with dogs on campus will not count.
- Top Posts: The top posts with the most interactions (likes, comments, shares) by the end of the campaign will receive a special gift!
Weekly Reminders & Engagement:
Weekly Challenges: Every week, post a new challenge to keep the engagement high (e.g., "Show us your dog’s favorite toy" or "Capture your dog enjoying a summer treat").
Feature Fridays: Highlight some of the best posts of the week on the Oregon Tech Alumni social media pages.
Announcement of Winners:
- Winner Announcement: We will announce the top posts and winners of the special gift on social media, tagging them and sharing their winning posts.
